When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

This is a commision requested by my sister's friend; she gave me an old picture of her and her sister and asked me to draw it in return for a CD. So I did.

 I told you this already, and gosh...now that I think of it, I hope you realized it was actually a compliment! XD I really like this style better than anime. It's fresh, unique, and truly heartwarming~
The girls' faces are wonderful!  (If I have time, I could CG this if you lent me a photo/scanned it so I could ref the colors) -- MOVED TO ~nijibug Thanks! xDD I'll work on it.

 This is a very good style!! And the shading techniques are wonderfully done. I couldn't do something like this, so fine detailed and sweet!! I love it!

 Were they originally not-smiling like that in the picture or..? It's really good though; you have a thing with straight sofas xDD love the shading~--  They weren't smiling too broadly, but they definitely looked happy, or at least content. When real people smile it's more effortless, and that's hard to put on paper without exaggerating too much. I think they look pretty much like how I drew them. It was a candid shot, after all. ^^
